As the vice president of finance and Alaska Air Group controller, Emily Halverson is responsible for processing the organization’s finances. She ensures that Alaska Air Group is in compliance with all financing reporting obligations. Emily joined Alaska Airlines in 2016 as the director of financial reporting and general accounting. She led multiple teams responsible for implementing updated accounting standards, including revenue recognition and leases.
Emily most recently served as the managing director of accounting, investor relations and assistant controller, where she provided strategic direction for financial reporting, general accounting functions, the loyalty and finance teams at Alaska and served as the subject matter expert and innovator in investor relations. Emily is highly respected for delivering results and knowing when to question the status quo.
