What’s the most beautiful place you’ve ever visited?

It is a toss-up between the Canadian Rockies and Montepulciano in Tuscany, Italy. Stunning but wildly different views in both places.

What’s one of your most memorable travel experiences?

My favorite travel experience was in southern Italy, where we drove from Sorrento to Ravello along the Amalfi Coast. The driving was teeth-grinding down the winding roads, but the view from Ravello overlooking the coast was extraordinary.

Who’s the most interesting person you’ve sat next to on a plane?

I had the fortune to sit next to Ansel Adams’ daughter-in-law, Jeanne Adams, on a trip to D.C., where she was speaking at a women’s leadership conference. She ran his master’s gallery for over 25 years and it was amazing to hear her talk about his work and her time at Yosemite.
