Registration Opens for ARC’s 5th Annual TravelConnect Conference

Dan Clay, Wayne Best and Holly Hegeman Confirmed as Speakers

ARLINGTON, Va. – May 4, 2018 – Airlines Reporting Corp. (ARC) is pleased to announce that registration is open for the company’s fifth annual TravelConnect. The conference will take place in National Harbor, Md., October 11–12 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. The theme for this year’s TravelConnect is “Transforming Together” and will feature discussions on how organizations can adapt to evolving customer needs, new technology and emerging distribution trends shaping the future of travel.

Confirmed speakers this year include Dan Clay, partner at Lippincott, who will discuss how brands can create meaningful connections with the customer of the future; Visa’s chief economist, Wayne Best, will present a big-picture view of the U.S. economy and reveal projections on how economic trends will impact air travel in 2019 and beyond; and Holly Hegeman of PlaneBusiness Banter will talk strategy, distribution, customer experience and the future of air travel in an interview.

Sessions at this year’s conference will focus on creating NDC partnerships, investments in technology, ONE Order, blockchain and ways ARC is transforming settlement. The conference will also feature an agency innovation panel that will focus on new business models reaching unique customer markets, thereby leading to unprecedented growth for many agencies.
