ARC Previews Enhancements to Its BI Products at GBTA 2017

Demonstrations and Information for Attendees Available in ARC’s Booth

BOSTON – July 17, 2017 – Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) is pleased to offer an advance look at enhancements to its business intelligence (BI) products at this year’s Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) Convention 2017. The enhanced products which will officially be launched in August, will be demonstrated at ARC’s booth (#437) during exhibition hours.

The BI product suite is comprised of Corporate BI, a state-of-the-art solution for corporate travel managers, procurement teams and their executives to effectively manage supplier programs, traveler compliance and peer-group benchmarking; Agency BI, which provides travel agencies with a consolidated view of ticketing data and peer benchmark comparisons to measure performance across their business operations; and Airline BI, for airlines to accurately analyze their agency's U.S. point of sales and general market data to make more targeted and fact-based business decisions.

The enhanced product suite will be available for customers in August, 2017.

Newly incorporated features into the product suite include:

  • New destination logic methodology applied to Corporate and Agency BI tools to enhance the industry standard stop-over logic, with the goal of showing true fares.
  • Customers can now also access data by marketing or operating carrier.
  • Forward-looking data is now available—up to 90 days for Agency BI. Customers can adjust by using the date range filters and selecting up to three months of forward-looking data.
  • Additional class of service levels have been added and now include five cabin class mapping—first, business, premium economy, discount economy and other.
  • The advance purchase range within the tool has also been expanded to include a “greater than 21 days” option for all products.
  • The tools now provide users with better comparisons of their own performance against that of their peers. The new comparison is against the industry peer group specifically, and is available on multiple tabs.
