Case Study Finds ARC & IATA’s Tool Optimized Atout France’s Destination Growth

Global Agency Pro helped tourism organization maximize the U.S. travel agency channel

ARLINGTON, Va. – June 6, 2017 – Airlines Reporting Corp. (ARC), the premier driver of air travel intelligence and commerce in the travel industry, recently released a case study that found Atout France—the official government agency whose mission is to develop worldwide travel and tourism to France—strengthened its partner relationships with U.S. travel agencies and improved its return on investment (ROI) on sales and marketing initiatives by leveraging ARC and IATA’s Global Agency Pro, a ticketing performance and benchmarking tool that helps tourism development agencies enhance destination growth.

Atout France representatives reported that the organization needed a more efficient and accurate way to monitor travel agency sales from the United States to France, benchmark against other destinations and connect with high-quality agents. Previously, the organization compiled sales data provided by industry partners in a time-consuming process, which often provided an incomplete view of channel activity. Upon implementation of Global Agency Pro, the organization reported that monthly sales reports now take a third of the time to complete, while channel performance reports and ROI tracking on marketing initiatives take half the time they used to. The tool has provided Atout France with a clearer picture of tickets and departures to France as well as accurate benchmarking data on like destinations.

Veronique Amato, Atout France’s research and strategic development manager, confidently concludes that Global Agency Pro has given her the ability to better analyze the market and target strategies for increased destination success.
