Scoot Joins ARC

Scoot (TR/668), Asia Pacific’s low-cost airline, will join ARC as a participating airline effective with sales on 10/01/2018 (PED 10/07/18).

Scoot is headquartered in Singapore and offers medium-to-long-haul service for both leisure and business travelers with its premium economy product. Scoot offers service to 66 destinations across 18 countries and territories, including Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, Philippines, Malaysia, China, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, India, Greece, Australia, Germany, and Honolulu in the U.S. Scoot operates a dual-fleet of 18 state of the art, widebody Boeing 787 Dreamliners and 26 Airbus A320 aircraft.

Scoot has elected the general concurrence method of agent appointment, whereby all ARC agents are automatically appointed as agents of Scoot. The airline accepts cash, Visa, Mastercard and American Express as valid forms of payment. Scoot’s flights can be booked in Amadeus and Sabre.

2018 Quarterly Transaction Fees – Third Quarter

This is a reminder about the agent/CTD transaction fee that is assessed on a quarterly basis. See the chart below outlining this tiered fee structure. Note: Agencies with fewer than 1,000 transactions per quarter will not be assessed transaction fees. A separate debit representing this fee will be drawn against your ARC designated bank account on October 25, 2018. Only one draft will be issued for consolidated drafting agents.

Jeju Air Now Accepts UATP

Effective with sales issued on Monday, October 1, 2018 (PED 10/07/18), Jeju Air (806/7C) will begin accepting UATP as a form of payment through ARC.
