ARC Labor Day Holiday Information

ARC's offices will be closed on Monday, September 2, in observance of Labor Day. Therefore, agencies will have one extra day to finalize their IAR sales report. All sales reports for PED 09/01/19 must be authorized by 11:59 p.m. EDT Wednesday, September 4.

Transactions issued in the GDS Friday, August 30, 2019, may be voided or modified in the GDS or IAR until Tuesday, September 3, 2019.

Tuesday and Wednesday: 9 a.m.-9 p.m. EDT
Thursday and Friday: 9 a.m.-7:30 p.m. EDT

Air North Joins ARC

After joining ARC in May, Air North (4N-287) has now implemented ticketing capabilities in all GDSs, including Amadeus, Sabre and Travelport (Worldspan, Apollo and Galileo).
Air North is a Canadian airline based in Whitehorse, Yukon, where it operates scheduled passenger and cargo flights throughout Yukon, the Northwest Territories, British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario. Air North operates a fleet of Boeing 737-500/400 and ATR 42-300 aircraft.
Air North has elected the general concurrence method of agent appointment, whereby all ARC agents are automatically appointed as agents of Air North. The airline accepts cash as valid form of payment, but it will soon add credit cards.

Tip of the Week: Changing Your DRS Password

Document Retrieval Service (DRS) passwords are required to be changed every 90 days to maintain compliance with PCI and industry standards. When changing your password, you may get a message indicating that the new password you have entered is invalid. To avoid getting this message, please review the DRS password guidelines below:

  • Must be 7-8 characters in length
  • Must contain at least one lowercase letter, one uppercase letter, one number and one special character of one of the following: ! @ # $ % ^ *
  • Passwords are case-sensitive
  • The new password must be different from the last four passwords used.
