Effective with sales issued on Monday, March 14, 2022 (PED 03/20/2022), Bamboo Airways (926/QH) will begin accepting Visa and Mastercard as forms of payment through ARC.
Effective with sales issued on Monday, March 14, 2022 (PED 03/20/2022), Air Botswana (636/BP) will begin accepting Visa and Mastercard as forms of payment through ARC.
You can now search for any document within an IAR sales report period ending date (PED) using the LO-List Old/Used Document option within the View Only tab. You can search for any document in the past 39 months, not just those that have been refunded or exchanged.
This enhancement allows you to perform a document search without having to know the original issue date or PED of a transaction. Using the LO-List Old/Used document feature searches across all sales report PEDs and all other branches within your agency organization. This will reduce the need to use Document Retrieval System (DRS) to retrieve information related to the document, such as the issue date or original form of payment.
When searching for a document using the LO-List Old/Used function, the PED, ARC #, and amount of the requested transaction will be displayed. If that document was later refunded or exchanged, a second line will be displayed showing the PED, ARC #, and amount of the refund/exchange and where that usage occurred. To view specific transaction details or when a transaction was last modified, you will still need to move to the specific sales report.
While the default view on the IAR homepage displays the three most current sales report PEDs, you can access any IAR sales report from the past 39 months. To view any older IAR sales report, enter the desired PED in the standard DDMMMYY format (Ex: 13MAR22). You can also create IAR BOS Summary files for any report in the past 39 months. View the TAC from PED 08/29/21 for more details on the expanded IAR sales report access.
To use the IAR View Only tab:
Using the View Only tab:
From within any sales report PED, select the “LO-Find Old/Used Document” option to view where any document was reported and used in an exchange or refund.
From a specific sales report, select the “LM-Last Modified” option to see the last modification made to a document in that sales report.
From a specific sales report, select the “LD-List Detail” option to display a document in that sales report.
Example of ticket not refunded or exchanged:
The message “Refund / exchange usage not found” is displayed when the requested ticket was reported in IAR but has not been refunded or exchanged:
Example of document that has been refunded:
The first line represents the sale of the transaction, and the second line represents when and where the transaction was refunded.
Example of document that has been exchanged:
The first line represents the sale of the transaction, and the second line represents when and where the transaction was exchanged.
Example of a debit memo:
Searching for a memo may result in multiple documents being displayed since all airlines use the same memo number range. These numbers may repeat across airlines, or within the same airline, at any time.
