Malindo Airways (OD/816) has replaced all branding collateral from Malindo Air to Batik Air. The airline 2-letter code (OD) and 3-digit ticketing (816) code remain the same. There is no impact to reservation and flight operations.

Amtrak (2V/554) Voluntarily Deletes from ARC

Amtrak (2V/554) is deleted from ARC, effective May 23, 2022 (PED 05/29/2022). Amtrak now manages all ticketing and settlement directly; ARC is no longer processing any Amtrak transactions.

ARC’s 2022 Memorial Day Holiday Schedule and New Extended Authorization/Submission Deadline

ARC will be closed Monday, May 30, 2022, in observance of Memorial Day. Agencies will have one extra day to finalize their weekly IAR sales reports. All sales reports for PED 05/29/22 must be authorized by 11:59 p.m. ET on Wednesday, June 1, 2022.

This marks a return to the standard 11:59 p.m. ET Wednesday extended sales authorization/submission deadline observed prior to Memorial Day 2020. This schedule will be observed for all ARC-recognized Monday and Tuesday holidays. The full ARC 2022 Holiday Schedule has been updated.

Note: IAR will remain available all day on Wednesday, June 1, 2022.

Holiday Ticket Modification/Voiding Schedule

Documents issued in the GDS from Friday, May 27, 2022, through Sunday, May 29, 2022, may be voided in the GDS until 11:59 p.m. local time on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

Documents issued in the GDS on Friday, May 27, 2022, through Sunday, May 29, 2022, may be voided or modified in IAR until 11:59 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

Holiday Sales Report Submission

Any sales report authorization for PED 05/29/2022 performed after 11:59 p.m. ET on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, will be considered a late submission. Any errors in that report will be moved to the following PED.

ARC’s Customer Care Center will reopen on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. The office hours for the week of Memorial Day are:

  • Monday: Closed

  • Tuesday-Wednesday: 9 a.m.-9 p.m. ET

  • Thursday-Friday: 9 a.m.-7:30 p.m. ET

Tip of the Week: Why was my ‘My ARC’ account deleted?

My ARC accounts with access to ARC tools containing sensitive data (including Accreditation, Agent's Choice, Document Ordering System, Document Retrieval Service, IAR and Memo Manager) are automatically deleted after 150 days of no activity for your data protection.

Payment card industry (PCI) security standards require that each user access their account and change their password every 90 days when they have access to sensitive data. A My ARC account with access to sensitive data and no login attempts will go through the following statuses before it is automatically deleted. A reminder email is sent to users before each status change.

  • 90 days (inactive status) – Access is locked.

  • 120 days (suspended status) – Access is locked and suspended.

  • 150 days (deleted status) – The account is automatically deleted.

If you do not have access to any ARC tools that contain sensitive data, your My ARC password will never expire, and your account will never be automatically deleted. However, it is strongly recommended that all My ARC users log in at least once a month to maintain an active account status.
