Effective PED 10/22/23, Air Belgium (KF/142) no longer accepts Mastercard and Visa as forms of payment through ARC. Agents issuing refunds for Air Belgium are encouraged to have customers contact their card issuer for resolution, as ARC will not be outputting the refunds to the processor.
Agencies with less than 1,000 transactions per quarter will not be assessed transaction fees. A separate debit representing this fee will be drawn against the applicable ARC-designated bank accounts on or after October 19, 2023. Only one draft will be issued for consolidated drafting agencies.
If you have not done so already, every agency must contact your bank representative and add ARC’s Company ID 9521367276.

ARC will notify travel agencies in an email to the primary administrator or operational contact on the account before each quarterly draft. For consolidated drafting agencies, only one draft will be assessed for all ARC-accredited locations.

The Zero Value Transaction (ZVT) enhancement, implemented on October 5, 2023, has received great feedback!
Did you know that the goal of the ZVT enhancement was to retain the original credit card Form of Payment (FOP) on even exchanges? When no FOP is received for an even exchange, but the original document’s FOP can be determined, IAR now automatically populates that FOP instead of requiring the word EVEN, CASH or CHECK. For example, when there is only one old document, the FOP is used to report that the old document is used. Retaining the original credit card FOP will eliminate the resources required to research the original credit card and correct FOP errors in the event an even exchange is later refunded or exchanged.
Similar to how the FOP cannot be changed on an exchange with a refund, changes cannot be made to the FOP on an even exchange unless that field is in error.
