In our continuous efforts to ensure the security and privacy of our users, we are excited to announce the introduction of multifactor authentication (MFA). We are implementing the first quarter of 2025.
MFA adds an extra layer of security to your accounts by requiring multiple forms of verification before granting access. This additional step significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized users and safeguards your personal information and confidential data.
Multifactor authentication will provide:
-
Enhanced security: By implementing MFA processes, you significantly reduce the risk of unauthorized access to your account.
-
User-friendly experience: While MFA adds an extra layer of security, we have designed the process to be seamless and user-friendly, ensuring minimal disruption to your workflow.
-
Customizable settings: You will have the flexibility to choose the authentication methods that best suit your preferences and security needs.
-
Protection against unauthorized access: Even if your password is compromised, unauthorized individuals will still be unable to access your account without the additional authentication factor.
We understand that transitioning to MFA may require some adjustment, so we thank you for your patience. We will continue to take the necessary security steps to protect your account.. We are committed to providing you with the necessary support and resources to ensure a smooth transition.
As we prepare for the implementation, we will share future updates on progress and launch date instructions on how to set up and use MFA.
Thank you for your continued trust and cooperation as we work to strengthen the security of our systems. If you have any questions, please contact our Customer Care Center at 855-816-8003 or ccchelp@arccorp.com.
Multiple airlines have alerted ARC that they continue to receive fake documents from travel agencies requesting refund waiver codes. The false documents include certificates of death and doctor’s notes claiming serious medical conditions.
Please ensure that all staff, independent contractors and sub-agents are aware that submitting fake documents to the airlines to obtain waiver codes may jeopardize the agency's accreditation status.
Example of a fake certificate of death:

Fraudsters set up the domain Galileogdshelpdesk.com on June 2, 2024, and began sending phishing emails on June 3.
Please review the fraudulent email example below to familiarize yourself with typical signs of suspicious requests, including grammar and spelling errors and a sense of urgency. In this case, the fraudster copied the Galileo name and trademark.

Accuracy is a key component of the Sales Report. If you discover that changes must be made to a transaction(s) in a Sales Report that has already been submitted, you may still do so with the authorize reverse command. The authorize reverse feature allows you to electronically retrieve the Sales Report from ARC.
You may reverse the Authorized/Submitted status of a sales report if the reporting deadline has not passed. Reversing the authorized status of a report restores your ability to add, modify, or delete transaction information contained in the report. You may reverse a single Sales Report that has already been submitted to ARC any time prior to the Tuesday 11:59 p.m. Eastern time zone deadline. However, once you reverse the authorized status of a report, you are still responsible for authorizing the report again before the Tuesday 11:59 p.m. Eastern time zone deadline. To reverse the authorization of a Sales Report on the IAR home page:
-
Click the box associated with the ARC# to Reverse Authorize/Submit.
-
Click the “R” box located under the Rev A/S heading.
-
The Reverse Authorize Status screen will display.
-
Type your password in the enter PASSWORD textbox.
-
Click the SUBMIT button to submit the reverse authorize/submit request.
-
Click the CANCEL button to cancel the reverse authorize/submit of the Sales Report and return to the Sales Report screen.
