Ensure Your Independent Contractors are Legitimate

Signing up independent contractors (ICs) is one way to grow your business. However, taking the proper precautions to verify their legitimacy is crucial. Review our Best Practices Guide, highlighting essential strategies to ensure your agency reaps the benefits of expanding your capabilities while minimizing the risk of onboarding fraudsters or unsuitable partners.

Multifactor Authentication is Coming in 2025

In our continuous efforts to ensure the security and privacy of our users, we are excited to announce the introduction of multifactor authentication (MFA). We are implementing the first quarter of 2025.

MFA adds an extra layer of security to your accounts by requiring multiple forms of verification before granting access. This additional step significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized users and safeguards your personal information and confidential data.

Multifactor authentication will provide:

  • Enhanced security: By implementing MFA processes, you significantly reduce the risk of unauthorized access to your account.

  • User-friendly experience: While MFA adds an extra layer of security, we have designed the process to be seamless and user-friendly, ensuring minimal disruption to your workflow.

  • Customizable settings: You will have the flexibility to choose the authentication methods that best suit your preferences and security needs.

  • Protection against unauthorized access: Even if your password is compromised, unauthorized individuals will still be unable to access your account without the additional authentication factor.

We understand that transitioning to MFA may require some adjustment, so we thank you for your patience. We will continue to take the necessary security steps to protect your account. We are committed to providing you with the necessary support and resources to ensure a smooth transition.

As we prepare for the implementation, we will share future updates on progress and launch date instructions on how to set up and use MFA.

Thank you for your continued trust and cooperation as we work to strengthen the security of our systems. If you have any questions, please contact our Customer Care Center at 855-816-8003 or ccchelp@arccorp.com.

NEW Fraud Alert: Fake Documents Submitted to Airlines

Multiple airlines have alerted ARC that they continue to receive fake documents from travel agencies requesting refund waiver codes. The false documents include certificates of death and doctor’s notes claiming serious medical conditions.

Please ensure that all staff, independent contractors and sub-agents are aware that submitting fake documents to the airlines to obtain waiver codes may jeopardize the agency's accreditation status.

Tip of the Week: What should you do if you receive the IAR error message "Inaccessible Sales Report”?

You may get the error message “Inaccessible Sales Report " when authorizing and submitting your weekly sales report. Do not be alarmed if you receive this message, as there is nothing wrong with your report.

All you have to do is close Interactive Agent Reporting (IAR) using the “Close IAR” link in the upper right-hand corner of the IAR sales report screen and then open IAR again. You should then be able to authorize and submit your sales report.
