BermudAir Joins ARC as a Participating Carrier

Effective with sales beginning February 10, 2025 (PED 02/16/25), BermudAir (2T/443) will officially join the ARC as a participating carrier.

Headquartered in Hamilton, Bermuda, BermudAir is dedicated to redefining the travel experience. With a current fleet of Embraer E175 aircraft, the airline will enhance its operations in spring 2025 with the addition of two Embraer 190AR-E1 aircraft. This fleet expansion will increase capacity, extend range and offer new opportunities to connect travelers to Bermuda for both business and leisure.

BermudAir offers a two-class service — Economy and Business — designed to deliver exceptional comfort and service. Operating year-round, the airline provides convenient international flights between Bermuda L.F. Wade International Airport (BDA) and key U.S. destinations, including:

Expedited Reporting & Presidents Day Schedule

Effective Tuesday, January 14, 2025, ARC implemented Expedited Reporting, enabling earlier processing and transmission of settled data. As part of this change, the sales report deadline is now 1:59 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on Tuesdays, excluding weeks when Monday or Tuesday is an ARC-observed holiday.

Holiday Week Issue Identified

We identified an issue with error transactions during holiday weeks. For the Monday holiday PED 01/19/25, error transactions were automatically locked and rolled to the next PED before the Monday holiday sales report deadline of 1:59 p.m. ET on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

ARC is diligently working to prevent error transactions from locking down early. However, we anticipate we will experience the same issue for the upcoming Monday holiday (Presidents Day) for PED 02/16/25.

Action Required for Presidents Day, PED 02/16/25:

  • Correct errors and reconcile your sales report by Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. ET to ensure all transactions for PED 02/16/25 are processed and settled accurately.
  • Error transactions still present after 11:59 p.m. ET on Tuesday will be locked until automatically rolled to PED 02/23/25 after noon ET on Wednesday. Corrections can then be made for settlement on Thursday, February 20.

Holiday Closure:
ARC’s offices were closed on Monday, February 17, 2025, in observance of Presidents Day.

Key Deadlines to Note:

  • Holiday Ticket Modification/Voiding:
    The GDS void/IAR reconciliation deadline for tickets issued between Friday, February 14, 2025, and Sunday, February 16, 2025, is extended to Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
  • Sales Report Submission:
    Weekly sales reports for PED 02/16/25 must be authorized by 1:59 p.m. ET on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
