Madagascar Airlines Payment Update

Effective with sales issued on Monday, May 26, 2025 (PED 06/01/25), Madagascar Airlines (MD/258) will begin accepting American Express as a form of payment through ARC.

New Fraud Alert: Phishing Emails from Fake Third-Party GDS Provider

Please be aware of a recent phishing email pretending to be from Sabre's EmQuest Agent Console, an agent productivity tool with access to booking data and reports. The fraudulent email includes a suspicious link: hxxps://emquestsabre[.]com.

While it contains “emquest,” the domain is emquestsabre.com, not sabre.com — indicating it is not a legitimate Sabre communication.

Always verify unexpected emails before responding or clicking on any links. GDS providers will never ask agents to log into their systems via email.

Always log into your GDS through bookmarks in your browser, not through an email link.

Memorial Day Holiday Information

ARC offices were closed Monday, May 26, 2025, in observance of Memorial Day.

Holiday Ticket Modification/Voiding Schedule

The GDS/IAR reconciliation dates for tickets issued from Friday, May 23, 2025, to Sunday, May 25, 2025, are extended until Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

Sales Report Submission

Weekly sales reports for PED 05/25/25 must be authorized by 1:59 p.m. EST on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.

ARC’s Customer Care Center is open on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

Expedited Reporting & Holiday Schedule Updates

In January 2025, ARC implemented Expedited Reporting, enabling earlier processing and transmission of settled data. As part of this change, the sales report deadline is now 1:59 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on Tuesdays, except during weeks with an ARC-observed holiday on Monday or Tuesday.

Holiday Week Issue Identified and Resolved

As part of this transition, we identified an issue during the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday week, where error transactions were locked down prematurely before the modification and sales reporting authorization deadline.

In advance of the Memorial Day holiday, ARC implemented a solution to prevent early lockdown of error transactions during holiday weeks. Agents will now have until the Sales Report Authorization deadline to correct errors and reconcile their IAR sales reports.  

Memorial Day Holiday Processing Schedule

  • Agencies have until Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 1:59 p.m. ET to correct errors, reconcile and submit your PED 05/25/25 sales report.
  • Error transactions unresolved by this deadline will be locked until automatically rolled to PED 06/01/25.

Tip of the Week: Searching for a Document in DRS

ARC Document Retrieval Service (DRS) offers three search options to help you locate a document and view its information. These are grouped by either the Quick Search, Passenger Search or Transaction Search options.

  1. Quick Search allows you to search by either Document Number, Date of Issue, PNR or Period Ending Date.

  2. Passenger Search allows you to search by Month and Year of processing PED and the Credit Card Number or the Last Name of a passenger.

  3. Transaction Search allows you to search by Document Number, a range of Document Numbers, the Date of Issue or the Beginning PED.

You can further refine your search by using a Last Name, Document Type or Payment Type filter.
