ONE Order employs the idea of using a shopping cart for travel. It is the concept of a single customer order that will hold all data elements related to a trip, including customer data, order items, payment and billing information, delivery data and status updates. During this webinar, Paige Blunt, ARC’s industry relationship manager and resident ONE Order expert provided participants a deep dive into the potential opportunities for the travel industry with ONE Order and how it will impact airline and agency organizations. With over 100 attendees during the live webinar, attendees were able to gain further understanding on the ONE Order Process Flow; a review of impacts of current stakeholders such as airlines, GDSs and travel agencies; and a timeline which includes the messaging standards being set for release late 2018. At the end of the webinar, participants were able to ask additional questions regarding ONE Order and impacts to them.
