National Career Development Month is a chance to highlight the many ways ARC invests in employee learning and long-term growth. From flexible digital learning tools to hands-on leadership training, ARC provides resources that help employees build new skills and advance their careers at every stage.
So far this year, nearly 70% of our employees have taken courses through Udemy, a learning platform offered through ARC. Together, they have completed 1,634 hours of learning for technology skills like AI, general business topics and personal development. These courses allow employees to tailor learning to their goals, whether they want to explore a new technical area or strengthen everyday workplace skills.
CliftonStrengths coaching, offered for individuals and teams, promotes self-awareness and effective collaboration. ARC’s Educational Assistance Program also provides up to $4,000 each year for undergraduate, graduate or job-related certification programs, supporting employees who want to pursue formal education.

I enjoy the program work that I do, but I’m truly passionate about supporting the people side of change — and I feel that type of support doesn’t get the attention it deserves. The certifications I’ve achieved over the course of the year, which have been supported by ARC, demonstrate my expertise in leading people through change. They help me enable successful adoption of new processes and technologies, which is key to ARC’s current modernization efforts.

Recertifying my Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) this year marks 25 years of holding this badge of expertise. I’m extremely proud to work at ARC, where investing in professional development means delivering creative, high-quality event experiences for our customers. My commitment to this certification encourages me to always innovate when helping ARC plan and execute their numerous stakeholder events.
Alissa Ramsay – Content Manager
I have developed a mindset of strategic thinking and curiosity throughout my career. Paired with a drive to produce high-quality work and exceed expectations, I continually seek more effective and innovative ways to work and solve problems. ARC supports that mindset through its professional development opportunities, including access to the online learning platform Udemy. I take certification courses in Udemy to build skills in areas I am passionate about, specifically AI for marketing, design and communications. Lessons in prompt engineering, ChatGPT and Midjourney, for example, fuel my passion to learn and help me think more creatively, enabling me to be a high-performing employee at ARC and stay competitive in my field.
