ARC has earned the top score of 100 in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2022 Corporate Equality Index. This marks the second consecutive year of ARC receiving the top score in the annual corporate benchmarking tool, and the third year ARC has been recognized by the HRC. We join major companies on this list, including ARC Board Member airlines American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines, in being recognized for policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality.
This recognition is a result of our colleagues’ commitment to fostering a supportive, open workplace culture. We have worked over the years to promote LGBTQ+ equality and inclusion within our company and community. Since 2018, the ARC Pride Employee Resource Group has been committed to working with the ARC executive team to adopt increasingly forward-looking policies and practices. They also lead participation in annual Pride Month events, partner with local organizations in Washington, D.C., and Virginia, and host events with LGTBQ+ leaders in travel and aviation. The COVID-19 pandemic halted many in-person events, but they still found opportunities for virtual gatherings to support our employees.
ARC will continue to provide and promote an inclusive environment within our organization and in the global travel industry. While the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted much of our business, our culture has continued to thrive. We look forward to being part of future efforts by ARC and our partners as we continue to open travel to more people around the world.
