Effective immediately, KM Malta Airlines Limited (KM/643) will join ARC as a participating airline, assuming the KM/643 IATA airline code previously assigned to Air Malta p.l.c.
KM Malta Airlines, the new Maltese national airline, was incorporated by the Government of Malta in November 2023. As of March 31, 2024, the airline will operate international scheduled flights between Malta and several international destinations within Europe. KM Malta Airlines operates Airbus aircraft (A320 and A320neo)
KM Malta Airlines has elected the General Concurrence method of agent appointment, whereby ARC automatically appoints all current (and hereafter approved) ARC-accredited agency locations. In addition to cash, KM Malta Airlines will accept the following credit card forms of payment: American Express, Diners Club, Discover, Mastercard and Visa.

Effective with sales issued on Monday, April 01, 2024 (PED 04/07/24), KM Malta Airlines (KM/643) will begin accepting Diners Club and Discover as forms of payment through ARC.
Agencies with less than 1,000 transactions per quarter will not be assessed transaction fees. A separate debit representing this fee will be drawn against the applicable ARC-designated bank accounts on or after April 18, 2024. Only one draft will be issued for consolidated drafting agencies.
If you have not done so already, every agency must contact your bank representative and add ARC’s Company ID 9521367276.

ARC will notify travel agencies in an email to the primary administrator or operational contact on the account before each quarterly draft. For consolidated drafting agencies, only one draft will be assessed for all ARC-accredited locations.

A fraudster continues to send phishing emails to the travel agency community, falsely claiming to be from Sabre. The phishing email entices the recipient to click the green “Sign-In” link and input the user’s GDS login credentials.
Ensure all staff, contractors and outside agents with ticket issuing capability know the phishing emails and the need to safeguard their GDS login credentials.
GDS providers will never ask agents to log into their system through a link in an email.
Always log into your GDS through bookmarks in your browser, not through an email link.
